E Komo Mai (Welcome) ! Aloha from the beautiful island of Kauai .  I am honored  and grateful you have chosen to view my introduction.  My name is Shelly Kaui Carvalho, born and raised on the island of Kauai which I am proud to call this precious piece of paradise, “my home”.  I am native Hawaiian & Filipino ancestry and my wonderful family roots have been on Kauai for generations.  I reside on the East side of Kauai with my husband Jeffrey, son Brian, and daughter Jacie.

Kauai is known to be the oldest Hawaiian island that continues to age so beautifully.  From the sheerest cliffs of the Napali Coast, to the sound of the ocean along the  white sandy beaches, the breathtaking sunrise to sunsets, to the mystical rain forest called Mt. Waialeale. The never ending rainbows that stretch for miles across the island, rich tropical flowers, to the lush valley of Kalalau .  There are many  spectacular show of waterfalls throughout the island of Kauai and the breathtaking views of Waimea Canyon .  This beautiful island of Kauai   I am proud to call “ Paradise ”.
