Kauai Culinary Market
For a fun and authentic Kauai experience that supports the local economy, check out Kauai Culinary Market! Held every Wednesday from 3:30 pm to 6 pm at The Shops at Kukuiula, this vibrant weekly event offers a wide variety of fresh, locally grown produce, pies, jams, and other food products from over 30 different vendors.
You’ll have the chance to get to know food artisans and farmers who are passionate about what they do. And that’s not all — you’ll also enjoy live island music and have the chance to relax with a glass of wine or beer in the Wine and Beer Garden.
South Shore chefs take the stage at 5 pm to showcase their skills in cooking up delicious local specialties, so it’s worth timing your visit with this spectacle!
By visiting the Kauai Culinary Market, you’ll not only have a great time with your family and friends, but you’ll also be supporting the local community by purchasing essential goods directly from small businesses and farmers during your stay in one of our condo rentals in Kauai.
Kealia Farm Market
Kealia Farm Market is a one-of-a-kind farm-to-table experience for shopping in Kauai! This unique market, located across from Kealia Beach and behind the Kealia Post Office, showcases farmers who grow on a 40-acre property known as Kealia Farm.
Unlike traditional farmers’ markets, the Kealia Farm Market offers not only freshly harvested produce but also fish caught off Kauai’s shores and taro products like poi, cooked corms, pie, and laulau. You can take home fresh fish caught by local families or even order it grilled and served with a kale salad on the spot!
Since all of the farmers here are from the same farm, the founder, Adam Asquith, prefers to call it a farm market rather than a farmers market.
Because all produce here is required to be grown without chemical sprays, you can feel good about supporting sustainable, environmentally friendly farming practices. Kealia Farm Market is more than just a place to shop for local goods — it’s a true community gathering space.

Coconut Market Place

From trendy apparel and accessory stalls to unique gifts and specialty shops, you’re sure to find that perfect souvenir to take home with you. When it’s time to refuel, the marketplace’s many restaurants and cafes have you covered.
Coconut Marketplace is also home to a lively calendar of events, including hula shows, live music, and monthly movie nights! With so much going on, it’s easy to see why the Coconut Marketplace is a favorite destination for locals and tourists alike.
Kauai Community Market
Kauai Community Market is the one-stop shop for all your gourmet cravings! Held every Saturday at Kauai Community College in partnership with the Kauai County Farm Bureau, this private market is the perfect place to discover the best local produce and artisanal goods the island has to offer.
Starting at 9:30 am, you’ll find a wide variety of locally-grown and roasted coffee, buttery fruit pies, handmade jams, fresh fruits and vegetables, and even beautiful plants and flowers to decorate your Kauai rental home.
As you work up an appetite, the market also features a selection of food trucks serving hot and delicious breakfast and lunch options, from authentic Thai cuisine to Puerto Rican-style tacos and sandwiches made to order!
There are some unique and unexpected treats to discover here too. Indulge in locally-made goat and feta cheese, sample some tropical jams and pies, or pick up a loaf of European-style bread to take home with you.
With music playing in the background and a lively atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to spend a Saturday morning with friends and family.
