Our family had a great time staying there. The house is spacious and the kitchen is big. There are beach toys, beach chairs, and surf boards for kids to have fun at the beach. The hotel pool is huge too with slides. Famous Wailua shave ice is 5 minutes across the hotel.

The unit was in great condition, stocked with all the expected items plus bonus body boards, beach chairs, and sand toys. Unexpected isolated partial construction of a tub area in one bathroom did not affect us. All showers, sinks and restrooms were fully functional. Look forward to seeing that when it's completed. A/C worked well. Great selection of movies. Convenient access to the amenities of the resort. Parking lot noise was not an issue and car access was super convenient as we made frequent short trips around the island. Would have been nice to have screens on the central back sliding door like bedrooms had.

No surprises here - the condo was just as pictured.
Having two "master bedrooms" was perfect for 2
couples traveling together. We had everything we
needed to cook breakfast (and could have cooked
more if we hadn't wanted to try some local
restaurants). We loved the landscaping and the pool
... and especially the hot tubs. Being in Kapaa, the
condo is in a great location - walking distance to
several restaurants and shopping and midway
between Poipu and Anini Beaches for some great

This is the resort we chose as the base camp for my daughter’s destination wedding. It was more than perfect!
My only suggestion is that there would be a food for purchase option prior to 3: 00 PM when Oasis opens! You folks could make a killing selling burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, and nachos!!!!

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well stocked except for the silverware left in the top of the dishwasher that took us a few days to find ;-) The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious though one bed was extremely firm. We enjoyed having beach chairs and towels, cooler and boogie board available to us. There were movies, books and great TV watching options. We enjoyed having breakfast on the patio each morning.Sadly the washing machine was mildewy so we chose not to risk washing our clothes in there. The pool area was very nice. The lobby presence and assistance was not great. Overall we were very happy with the accomodations and would stay here again.

Great stay at this resort! Honestly I think it would be hard to find a resort with better amenities. The pool, waterslides, and hottub(s) were a great back up plan for a rainy day. The walkability of this area is INSANELY good. There is a Safeway right across the street making groceries very convenient - and the kitchen that comes with the condo has EVERYTHING you could need (from grilling to cooking to sushi making). There are about a dozen restaurants and a couple bars within walking distance that made dinner plans very simple and convenient. AND the beach is just a few seconds walk from C105! Great for watching the sunrise and getting a start to your day. Many of the good beaches to swim at are also only a few minutes drive away (visited Hanalei (40 mins), Kalapaki (15 mins), Lydgate (8 mins), and Poipu (40 mins)).

The beach chairs, towels, cooler, and umbrella that came with the condo also quickly became our beach day essentials. Snorkel rentals are not provided by the condo but are a short walk from the condo.

The owners are quick to respond and will help you in any way they can. It was Mother's Day when i arrived and they helped arrange flowers for my Mom for when we got there!

Couldn't ask for a better resort get-away. The price is right and it has everything you need! 5/5 stars will be staying again in the future!

We had the absolute best experience in this unit and the island. Perfect spot, perfect amenities, Remax was so convinced and had everything on hand we needed and then some. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids and we had so much space we never felt cramped or on top of eachother. The unit is fully equipped with movies, games, awesome tvs and wifi was spot on. This was our first time at the resort and had such a wonderful time, on the plane home, we're already discussing our return in 2025. Upon entering the condo, we immediately said how clean it was and loved the Hawaiian decor and layout. The resort checked what we wanted most in a holiday. Well located from Lihue, on the beach, has an amazing pool and workout area, also well situated to walk to local restaurants and shopping. What was really nice, the restaurant onsite. They showcase local produce and can recommend any of their fish dishes. Staff at the resort are friendly and customer focused. I would like to give a shout out to the condo managers - they bend over backwards to ensure your holiday is great. Angela - you are wonderful.

Beautiful condo with great central location 2018-06-22

Perfect condo for families or couples on the go. It's centrally located which meant we could get anywhere on the island quickly. We loved the resort and the restaurant on site as well as the grocery store across the street. It's perfect for those that are on the move but want a central home base for end of the day meals. The resort pool is beautiful but on the quiet side and seemed to be best suited for either really young kids or the "retired" crowd. My teenagers were bored hanging out at the pool. There's no beach to run out to and really boogey board on. You'll have to travel for that. The condo was well kept and well stocked. We had some electrical issues at first but the property manager was really responsive and helped guide us to reset the breakers.

We truly enjoyed staying at the Waipouli resort. The condo was so comfortable and provided us with everything we needed. The pool and workout facility were incredibly clean and my kids loved the pool slides. I also really appreciated the cleaning supplies and some of the cooking basics that were in the condo such as olive oil and grilling salts. Having a washer and dryer was very helpful too, and the beds/pillows were quite comfortable. Finally, the location of the resort is perfect. It was central to the shopping center for groceries and the drive to the north side of the island only took about 30 minutes. We would most definitely come back and stay in C-105.

This resort, and this specific unit C-105 are top notch. It is a beautiful, clean property with a fantastic pool and beautiful lush green foliage everywhere. The unit itself is very clean and updated. Previous reviews complain about the parking lot view but the grounds are so wonderfully landscaped that the parking lot is hidden and your view is a nice tropical landscape with the mountains and fantastic Hawaiian sky. You don't see the parking lot and it creates enough privacy that they don't see you. The owners of this unit have provided everything you need for your stay. Kitchen amenities, beach chairs, etc. We had 9 nights of luxury and a great time at the resort and on the island. The appliances are modern and quite frankly a bit too complicated to figure out but we eventually figured them out. We had two small issues...the AC slowed down and the oven had a problem but one call to maintenance and they were there to fix immediately. I would give this property and the unit itself 10 stars if I could but 5 is the limit. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Kauai.

Waipouli Beach Resort through RE/MAX has a seamless check-in/check-out process over e-mail with codes as opposed to standing in lines at typical resorts. The unit was super clean and allowed the space needed for an enjoyable stay. While a pool or beack front condo is always preferred, the reality is you are steps away from both in a very nice condo. The guest services are lacking from a typical resort and the concierge is a third-party Expedia concierge that is trying to make a sell. If you need assistance take advantage of RE/MAX concierge services as they will be much more helpful than the desk at the resort.

Amazing Resort and Condo Unit 2021-08-09

The resort property was everything we hoped for and more. Staff and property manager were always very friendly and helpful. Our C-105 condo unit was perfectly located. Loved being on the first floor with immediate access to all the resort amenities, as well as right next to the parking lot for when we wanted to take our rental car and tour the island. Even though the location meant our view was of the parking lot, it didn’t really bother us at all (and ended up actually preferring it, surprisingly).

The condo unit itself was fantastic in almost every way, with some exceptions. The fancy, high-end Wolf oven was broken, and apparently had been broken for sometime. A call to the property manager confirmed they knew it was broken, and they said it was hard to get replacement parts for an outdated unit. But, then they offered to provide a countertop convection toaster oven (on a very nice rolling cart), which ended up being perfect for cooking some of the Safeway frozen pizzas was had picked up. And the internet (provided by the Resort) had some intermittent problems, but worked about 95% of the time. The only other thing the property could use is a little TLC in one of the showers because the plastic edging alongside the glass door, keeping the water inside the shower, was beyond end of life. Otherwise, everything was great.

Really appreciated a full blown kitchen with all the pots, cups, plates, silverware, and utensils you’d find at your home. And having a washer/dryer on-site made our 10 day vacation stay with kids (10 & 7) that much easier. Note, there is no housekeeping services (which we didn’t mind) and you are responsible for replenishing items used like paper towels from the kitchen and toilet paper. We just picked up a big pack of TP from Costco and left a bunch remaining - your welcome whoever stayed after us :)

Would definitely stay at this resort and this unit again!

Just outside of downtown Kapa’a this resort is surprisingly beautiful with spacious units and a fantastic pool area right on the beach. The unit was clean and for the most part, well maintained. The oven wasn’t working and the linens could use an update. Relax was easy to work with. Checking in and out was fast and easy. The Oasis restaurant on site was very good. Definitely recommend this place and would stay here again!

We stayed in unit C105. We received are check in info, was beyond easy. The condo itself was stunning. It was soo nice to have the kitchen to do cooking and the bbqs by the pool! The resort is beautiful. The environment is very welcoming and honestly didn’t want to leave. The pool was amazing and loved the private beach. Very convenient to have a ground floor unit to get to the pool and beach very easily. Safeway was right across the street made it easy to pick up groceries. We rented 2 units at the Waipouli Resort which were both lovely, spacious and clean. They were both equipped with full kitchens, pool and beach toys and coolers and beach chairs which was so nice to be able to use.
The resort was very nice with a beach area and fabulous swimming pool. There was construction happening so had to detour to reach pool but understand repairs need to be done.
Location was good with local food stores handy but car rental a must.
Angela from Remax was just a call away and gave a quick response to any questions.
There also was a restaurant but we mainly ate at our unit or took advantage of the Barbecue down by the pool.
We found everyone very friendly and other than wanting to experience a different part of the island would return to Waipouli anytime!

We enjoyed 2 weeks at the Waipouli Resort with the whole family visiting at different times. The location was perfect as it is close to groceries, shopping and restaurants and an easy drive to Hanalei and Poipu. We put 750 miles on our minivan.

The resort's pool is as pictured - perfect for kids. The beach is not for swimming.

Beautiful room. Very well stocked except just a 1/2 roll of paper towels. Great sun rise from the beach on property. A couple of things , oven did not work though appliances were awesome. That may have been on me. As I didn’t see that item on the agreement. The pool lock requires photographic memory to get into it as the combination is crazy long. Water heater set too low, we had to stagger showers between 4 of us and never could get a tub full of hot water at any time, though the tub was so inviting. The beds were all temperpedic nice however I got a topper for mine to make it a little softer, no biggie! We could have used an extra pair of sheets for each bed as we were there for 10 days. Mine was not fitted, two top sheets. All in all we loved it, the room was beautiful and the pool was amazing, Derek the concierge was absolutely the best! We enjoyed food at coconuts. Mac that ya for Japanese shave ice, and Keokis in Poipu, of course pukka dog. Mac cream pie from Kauai bakery always our favorite! This is a great location in the middle of the island. Go north for the beautiful Hanalei beach or south for the sunny side and Poipu beach. Kapaa is a great place to shop and bike ride along the ocean.

Enjoyed staying at the Waipouli Resort. Great to be on the beach and enjoyed the pool facilities. The condo had everything we could think of from toys for building sandcastles to dish soap and laundry detergent. Although we found the king sized beds very comfortable, getting into and out of the bed was difficult as it was noisy and woke the baby who was sharing a room with us. Most people staying here would probably not even notice the noisy beds if they did not have a baby with them. The other thing I didn't enjoy only was the poor water pressure when taking showers. Liked being walking distance to Foodland and Safeway. Felt close enough to the beach and pool too! Had an awesome time and would probably stay here again.

Really nice condo, wonderful cooking appliances and pots and pans and knives. Clean, lovely decor. They have a closet full of boogie boards, beach chairs & sand toys. Even though there is no view and on ground floor it's still private, you look out on pretty plants. Very quiet, you can't hear anyone upstairs. The Remax agents are very nice and responsive. The pool is great, kids love the water slides and they have a really nice spa for adults. Highly recommend.

Having traveled to Kauai before we realized the importance of being centerly located on the island. This location rocks. The two best grocery stores are right across the street. Downtown Kapaa is about a 10 minute walk. The first floor unit is much desired. The view is not much but who cares? Remember your renting the island, go find your views. Very quiet and nicely stocked. Easy parking. It looked much nicer than the photos indicated. Great washer and dryer.

We stayed in C-105 and it was everything we hoped it would be and more ! The condo looks exactly as seen in the pictures. The unit had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We enjoyed that there were lawn chairs, cooler, snorkel gear to use. The location was great. We only used the pool once, and it was nice. I was worried as I read many reviews that the pool was cold, but I found it quite comfortable. The unit faces the parking lot, but there are large hedges between the building and the parking lot so you don't really notice the parked cars.
The lady at the excursions counter was also very helpful. The only glitch we had was that we arrived back to our room one day to find that our code to get in to the room no longer worked. Security looked us up and our room was listed as VACANT. With a call to the after hours emergency number, Cyrila had us back in our room with a new code quite quickly. We would definitely stay at this resort, and in this unit again !

This condo exceeded our expectations. The beds and linens were very comfortable, as were the couch and chairs in the living room. The bedroom doors were heavy enough so that if someone wanted to sleep while others were in the living area, they could rest quietly. Remax responded quickly to any questions or issues we had. This condo is well equipped with games, videos, cooking items, boogie boards, etc. We could not ask for a better location. We would love to stay here again!!

My choice in location was superb, this was my second visit to the island and wanted to be more central to the popular spots to visit. The apartment was awesome, enjoyed the kitchen with all the ammenities in excellent condition. The beds were phenomenal, excellent sleep and very comfortable. The beach gear was very handy, we borrowed the cooler for the hike to queens bath, boogie boards of all sizes to enjoy the beach. The bathrooms and showers were as expected with the same comforts as in my own home. A hurricane was lurking close by and called the property management, they were very accomodating should my next island plans fall through they were ready to offer a back up plan. I would recommend the apt, the proximity of the grocery stores were ideal and allowed for full daytime enjoyment to meet any last minute needs.

We loved our stay here. The rooms are better than the pictures. The location was awesome. Right between the North and South shore which gave us an option to drive about an hour to either, especially nice on rainy days of the North shore. Safeway right across the street, don't go to food land if looking for good prices. It was nice to have the pool for the kids when we were tired of the waves. Seconds to the beach/ocean but no lifeguard so we never went in. Wish I would of got a unit facing the ocean but didn't reserve in time. I would stay here again. So glad these have central ac. There is a restaurant/bar on site.

This unit was the perfect "home away from home" for our family of 4 which included 2 kids under the age of 6. We had a wonderful stay. I've been visiting Kauai since 1998 and stayed in many hotels, condos, campsites and friends couches. This was by far the nicest place I've ever stayed. My mom, wife and 2 yr old daughter came with me to visit my 9 yr old son who lives in Kauai. The resort has an awesome pool which kids and adults alike enjoyed. This condo suited our needs perfectly. It was well kept, the perfect size and in an ideal central location for our typical Kauai vacation. The beds were super comfy which is something I always worry about. Well stocked with towels and the closet full of beach gear was a fantastic surprise. The DVD movie collection was a neat touch as well. Constructive criticism only on the following: one more comfy sitting chair in the living room, kind of an odd setup with one small sofa and a sitting chair (there was an odd man out). The pots and pan collection was a joke. You have a gourmet kitchen with state of the art appliances but hodgepodge collection of junky pans. Please please please go to Costco and invest in a new set!
Otherwise we were completely satisfied with our stay. The pool area is fantastic as well.

Nice Restaurant & Bar. Steps away from breath taking beach! Tv's DVD's wifi. Grocery store, Starbucks & McDonalds across the street. Only bummer was the a/c will only work if the bedroom doors are closed off from the main living area and that separated our parties a bit and kept us closed off from one another. Must wear wristbands at pool side and the pool code was complicated for my 70 yr old mother. Other than those little things, we loved our stay!

This was our second stay at Waipouli. We thought the first condo was top notch, but this one was one notch better! We are two couples and the two master suites are perfect. C-105 had everything we needed and then some. The cooking equipment and settings were excellent. We took the chair from one of the bedrooms to the living room so all 4 of us could sit comfortably. Would not consider this unit to have a garden view, but does have small lawn space. These Waipouli units are well built with heavy doors and all the upgrades. Nothing was on the cheap. The unit was so clean and well maintained that we took off our shoes upon entry. I don't even do that home! We walked across the street to McDonald's for their Hawaiian deluxe breakfast twice, Safeway and ABC to shop, the ice cream store for dessert, and even the Pho restaurant for noodles and spring rolls. When we come back for our third time, we will be coming back to Waipouli.

This was our second stay at Waipouli and first stay in this condo. We had an ocean view from our lanai the first time here so We were worried about not having it this time. In hindsight, we never really spent time on the lanai before and it was not important this time, didn’t miss it. We loved being on the ground level where we could just walk out to the pool, beach or car. The condo felt like home with ample bathrooms/mirrors for 4 females in our family of 5! It was beautiful, clean, comfortable and spacious enough for us. Nice to have a kitchen and laundry available as needed. Close to beach, great pool and hot tubs and great location to all parts of the island. We will stay at Waipouli again and would choose this condo again if it’s available. Thanks or sharing it!

We have stayed at all inclusive resorts and even rented homes to allow us to to cook our own meals. This renewal is the best of both worlds. You have the amenities of a resort with a full kitchen and private entries. It was centrally located between North Shore and South Shore with a grocery store across the street! We already decided when we go back to Kauai THIS is where we want to stay. Loved it.

We had a great stay in Kauai! The condo itself was well suited for our family of 5 and offered many comforts. And of course Kauai is beautiful. The only issue we had was with the pool. It's beautiful but they don't allow floaties, balls, coolers, and one of the pool attendants was EXTREMELY rude. They have rules they don't enforce unless they feel like it and while every kid in the pool was breaking the rules they decided to kick my 3 year old off the slide. 3 year old!!! Because of this and the rudeness of the pool attendant we will not be visiting this property again.

My family and I stayed at this property over the July 4th holiday. This condo is located on the ground level of the resort right by the pool, which was very convenient. The condo itself looks out onto the parking lot of the complex, but there are a few bushes providing some privacy by the lanai and bedroom windows. Overall the condo was very clean and well laid out. The owners have clearly thought through all of the details you will need during your stay - from extra power cords for charging, lots of laundry detergent, DVDs or rainy days, and lots of beach equipment, we felt very well take care of. The property itself could use some upkeep and is starting to show its age. Also, while centrally located on the island in Kapa'a, traffic on the main road outside of the resort is horrendous during the day. Make sure to add an extra 15-20 minutes to go in either direction basically at any time during the day to get to where you're going. Nothing the property owners can control, but that did add some frustration during our stay.

Stayed here for 2 weeks in march with my wife and 2 young children. Property is very nicely located with a beach on the property and a 24 hour grocery store across the street for those late night plane arrivals. The condo was nicely stocked with beach toys, chairs, cooler, snorkel gear, towels, etc.. The room was very quiet and we only heard adjacent guests once during the entire stay. The only downside was the bed as it was a bit too hard for our liking. The on site pool kept the kids happy after coming back from exploring the island. Salt water chlorination, water slides, hot tubs, heated!! Can't wait till we can return here.

we love the place. everything is new. the resort is very nice. our kids love the swimming pool and the slides. The beach is not swimmable (strong waves!!!) We have to go other beaches to swim, but not at our resort. The only complaint I have for this unit is the bed in the guest bedroom. The bed makes squeaky noise when we move, twist and turn. It makes noise when we try to get off the bed. Didn't like it at all. Other that that, it's a great to place to stay.

Condo was wonderful, great facility, bathrooms, pool, kitchen, and the remax staff was easy to work with when our schedule needed a slight change. However, the "air conditioning" was a joke. Essentially nonfunctional during the stay other than to move air, there were multiple times when it was actually colder outside. This was following the energy-eye guidelines as well, which turns off the A/C system and changes the set temperature back to 74 frequently. Which is fine, or it would have been, if the condo temp had actually ever reached 74. Despite the system's indications that everything was working properly, we were sweating throughout the entire stay.

We started our stay out in this particular unit. We had a maintenance issue that resulted in us eventually agreeing to move. The folks at Remax Kauai were very fair with respect to compensating us for the inconvenience and tried to minimize the impact. We really enjoyed the time we spent in this particular unit. The unit was very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The owners provided small amenities that although, they seemed small really made a big difference to us. Beach chairs, cooler bags, beach toys for the kids, beach towels - these things made us feel at home. After moving units, we really appreciated the placement of three ceiling fans in the units - in each bedroom and the living room - this really helped with air circulation and made sleeping most comfortable along with the air conditioning unit. Travelling with kids we really appreciated the proximity to the pool and to the parking area upon returning from a long day at the beach! Thanks for helping make it a great vacation for us - we would stay here again!

If I knew that in advance, we wouldn't have packed in all our own snorkel gears as it 's heavy and bulky to bring your own fins and masks....
