The property itself was perfect! The resort was also very nice and the service was as expected. The elevator wasn't working, but we didn't have an issue with taking the stairs.

We loved this location, even though it was a resort it was so quiet, the view was amazing. The condo was well-maintained. The only downside was the lack of comfortable living room seating for a place that could sleep 8 people, only one couch that comfortably fits 3 other than that it was great.

Had a great stay in Kauai. The location worked out perfect. It was very centrally located on the island. We traveled boy directions multiple times. Many great restaurants so close. Some within walking distance. The view from the room was unbelievable. Would definitely return.

This is such a lovely place to stay, this is our 3rd time. The views are great - even when it rains. I love coming back here.
The property managers are a husband.wife team that took such great care when we needed something. I'm still amazed at their responsiveness and follow-through. Can't go wrong with G404!
One side note, like all rentals, do not expect kitchen knives that you can use. Pack a sharp one from home or bring your own sharpened.

We had a great stay. Would definitely stay here again. There was a problem with elevator and my daughter and her fiancé. Got stuck on it for almost an hour. We had to call the fire department. The resort had the elevator to and running by the next day.

Wonderful experience. AC worked great the whole time. Maintenance had to fix one thing, and was there in a timely. Garbage bags, laundry packets, TP all provided. No Keurig though. Furniture an older style. View from lanai is absolutely the best view in the whole complex. Checkout easy.

Very nice rental. It was clean and had all the basics we needed. The best part is the view--close to the ocean and with three sets of sliding doors you can see it from everywhere in the unit. The decor is a little outdated and it would be nice to have more comfortable seating both inside and outside. The property has a great pool, restaurant and plenty of beach chairs. It wasn't crowded and for a a property with a lot of units, it was quiet. Grocery store, ice cream and shave ice places right across the street and plenty of restaurants within a short drive away.

Our son's family took one side of the room and my husband and I took the other side, leaving the living room as the perfect barrier for privacy. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment, the bathrooms are large, and the view is outstanding. Instead of traveling to a place to snorkel we snorkeled right in front of our room! Restaurants are nearby and numerous.
Absolutely recommend this place.

The unit was clean and well stocked. Had all the needs for the beach. Each room had slider doors to hear the ocean and feel the trade winds. Parking is plenty and easy. The pool was fun, kids loved the water slides. Saw two Hawaiian Monk Seals haul out just next to our unit. Would definately stay here again.

We sadly just came back from our trip on Tuesday and we loved everything about the unit. I was hesitant to pay the extra money for G404 but it met our expectations and beyond! We did too much around the island to enjoy the pool. We also didn’t eat at the restaurant so unable to review the food, but it looked good!

We fully enjoyed our stay at Waipouli Resort. The condo was very clean, higher-end, and well-stocked in the kitchen and with beach stuff. I loved the view of the ocean from the porch. The resort itself was perfect. The pool and hot tubs were great. And the cocktails were fabulous. We spent almost 2 days of our week, hanging at the resort and walking/running along the ocean pathway. My kids loved running across the street to the grocery to get snacks. AC was a game changer for these southerners! Check-in and check-out was super easy and communication was excellent. Highly recommend this unit!

As a family of 5 (3 kids 21,21,18) this 2 bedroom was perfect! It was exactly as the pictures depicted. The view was breathtaking. The unit was very clean and had everything needed for our 6 night stay. The fitness center was WAY nicer than expected, which made my daughter very happy. The pool was beautiful. Everything was well maintained. The Safeway across the street was very convenient to walk to. We had a minor issue with our thermostat needing to be replaced. My husband called when we left for the day and they had it replaced by the time we returned-huge thumbs up there! There was a closet full of beach accessories. We didn't use any, but it was so nice that it was available. Along with starter everything :TP, dish soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, full sized hair dryers (which I was thankful for since I forgot mine in the hotel on Oahu) If there were any downsides it would be the pullout sofa. One daughter always sleeps on for trips. She refused-it was terrible, especially after coming from the best pullout she said she has slept on. With 5 adults we always travel with a blow-up mattress and there were 3 beds in this unit, so it worked out fine. The amount of traffic in front of the resort was much busier than I was expecting. However it did not affect our stay or anything pertaining to our room itself as this building is at the back, closest to and facing the ocean. Loved the key pad entrances. It was SO nice not to need or keep track of card keys for 5 people. I would absolutely recommend this resort and unit to anyone asking.

Condo has a great view. Overall experience was great. The kids really enjoyed the pool and lazy river. Love the easy access to the beach. We saw a monk seal sunbathing one afternoon. Some repairs need to be made. Bath room door knob in the guest bedroom was loose and missing screws. One leg of the coffee table was loose. Only one door would open to the lanai from front room. Sliding glass door from guest bedroom to lanai was really hard to open. Overall, we would stay here again.

This apartment felt like a home away from home for our 11-day stay. The accommodations provide everything you need and more, and it is in a perfect location for easy day trips and excursions throughout the island. The views of the ocean from each room are spectacular, as is the sunrise you'll see each morning. Great shops and restaurants are close by, many of which you can walk from. The multi-use pedestrian path is just off the site and is wonderful! The only thing to get used to is the sound of the air conditioning units. We would highly recommend!

Our family of 5 stayed for 8 nights in unit G404 over mid winter break. We have stayed at the waipouli beach resort before but this was our first time in this unit. The views are amazing, and we took advantage of the lanais to watch the sunrise and even saw whales breaching right out front. The unit is comfortable and well appointed. We spent time at the pool, beach, and day trips around the island. We had everything we needed for a fantastic trip to Kauai.

The condo is large with great views and was well equipped with everything we needed and more.
The location is very convenient for getting around the island, as well as shopping just across the street.

This was a wonderful place to stay on Kauai. It was an easy drive to other parts of the island. Close to good restaurants, shops and a grocery store. We had one issue with the washing machine leaking and it was addressed promptly by the managing company. We would highly recommend this rental for your stay in Kauai.

Views are great! Love the property and all it has to offer.
The bedding, sheets , towels , pillows are old and need to be updated. The cleaning crew was young and didn’t care if the pillows were badly stained yellow. They rushed in to do a quick clean, doing so they are not paying attention to details.

We had a wonderful stay at the Waipouli. The view from the patio took our breath away when we first walked in. The condo had everything we needed and we loved the location in Kapaa. We were close to both the North and South parts of the island. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area was so clean and we enjoyed the pools everyday. I can't say enough about how much we loved the condo and the resort.

This property was exactly as described. Very cleaned and well maintained. Extremely convenient in terms of "check-in/check-out." I would definitely recommend and/or use again myself.
We had 5 in our party (mom, dad, teenager and two college students). This was a great unit for us! We are an "active" family and this location gave us access to a major running trail, great hiking and waterfall adventures, fun beaches, and more! However, I could totally see myself using this place to completely chill and relax. It was quiet and peaceful out on the lanai.
The unit itself was wonderful... the kitchen is more than sufficiently stocked (including cooking spray, S/P, oil, etc - which meant we didn't have to spend extra for one or two meals. A nice touch!)
The pool/spa area was also fun to use (although the towel lady was a bit rude ;-) We didn't eat at the on-site restaurant, but it looked like a fun, well-attended place.
Overall, a great place to vacation!

We researched the whole island to find a condo on the beach with ocean views! This condo was better than what we expected! It was centrally located so we could get to Poipu or Princeville quickly. It was also nice to have shopping nearby. The best part is that Cocunuts restaurant opened a location in the shopping center behind it...they have the best clam chowder! Remax was very accommodating since we were anticipating that our flights were going to be delayed, since our airport was shut down due to weather. They worked with us to stay another half day. I would prefer to work with a professional company like Remax versus a personal owner. I would recommend this place to our friends and family!

This condo is exactly what you would want on a holiday week. The kitchen was awesome. Had pretty much every thing I needed. The stuff for the beach was perfect!but more so than any thing the views, the easy access and its not right next to the pool. While the pool area and fitness area are superb, G building is just far enough from the activity, that you feel like it's all for you! I LOVED this place!

This is the most beautiful condo! Incredible ocean views from every room. Loved sleeping to the sound of waves. I didn't even realize that the unit had A/C as the ocean breeze kept us perfectly cool.There may have been something in the water or possible everyone was so excited to be able to vacation, but all other guests were so friendly. I was vacationing with my grandkids, so the Safeway across the street was convenient for breakfasts and lunches. The pool with slides was a big hit with my grandkids but the lazy river was a lazy, lazy river as it did not have a current but the waterfalls made up for it. I loved Kapaa and prefer it to either Princeville or Poipu.The unit was beautifully furnished and had everything you might ever need. Really enjoyed Smith Famiy Gardens. We went 3 times,to the gardens, the boat ride up the river and to the Luau. Finally tried stand up paddle boarding and loved it. Ate at Saimin Dojo which was different and Lemongrass. I will definitely stay here again.

Condo was very nice, clean and well-maintained. Basic supplies were provided. Plenty of towels. Beach was lovely and not crowded. Lots of space on the sand in the sun and under trees that provide shade. There were spots to enter the water through the rocks. I was told snorkeling was good way out by an offshore reef but it was too challenging for me to reach it. The pool and hot tubs were nice. Sometimes a little crowded and the adults only hot tub rules were not always enforced. We had happy hour drinks and a very good meal at the Oasis restaurant. Service was outstanding. We liked this location. Plenty of good restaurants and stores nearby. We recommend the Lemongrass Grill for seafood too. We did a boat and snorkel tour of the Napali Coast out of Port Allen thru Holo Holo Charters. Great trip but best done outside of the winter months. We were lucky to have good conditions in November. Overall we loved our stay on Kauai at the Waipouli Beach Resort!

The good: Location, location, location! First, this is oceanfront with a perfect view. The water is crystal clear. We had sea turtles in the water, monk seals on the beach, amazing snorkeling and tidepooling, the pool was great, the central location to all sides of the island was fantastic, we walked to the coconut market most days, the nearby restaurants were our favorite ones on the entire island, and there is a great grocery store across the street! Our favorite restuarant was Monico's (Mexican). Hukilau, also close by, is fantastic but you will want a reservation in advance. The onsite restaurant is okay. There was live music some days which was fun for pool time. We cooked breakfast daily and ate on the balcony and did our laundry which was great. There were beach chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella, etc in the closet for us to use.

The not as good: The ice maker gave us fits and the toilet paper holder in one of the bath rooms was broken and one of the bathtub drains wouldn't stay shut. Those were little things in comparison to overall though. You need shoes for the ocean there. But you can easily drive to other beaches if you want. I recommend visiting beaches all around Kauai! We loved experiencing different ones as they all have something a little different to offer. Check out "secret beach"-google it. If you want to adventure go to Shipwreck beack in Poipu.

The Condo was nice, clean and well kept. It is well located, and gave easy access to both ends of the island. The best feature of this unit, however, is by far the daily view of the sunrise over the Pacific (in addition to the moonrise- we stayed during a full moon). It made this particular unit worth every penny we paid for it.

We really had a great experience staying at the condo located in the Waipouli Resort room G-404. The views were fantastic from the lanai and the sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep most evenings when there was a breeze. The condo was in good shape and offered us and our guests all the convenience of home. If there is one improvement I would make it would be the installation of ceiling fans in each bedroom. On the evenings when there was not enough cool air from the outside and we needed to operate the air conditioning the rooms became stuffy and uncomfortable. We enjoyed watching the whales jumping in the ocean which we could see clearly from our lanai. Being on the top floor looking out to sea spared us the noise from the pool area. Viewing the sunrise from the lanai with a cup of coffee was the best way to start the day. We would not have a problem recommending the room to others.

Wow! First time we've rented a place and been so pleased. It was better than we expected in all ways. Overall, we had a very positive experience. The location of the unit is great, with a beautiful view of the grounds directly below and the ocean just beyond. Perfect spot for sunrise in the morning. We enjoyed having the windows open and listening to the calming ocean during the night and having the more busy poolside on the other side of the building. The unit was well-equipped with all that we needed. Our kids really enjoyed the pools,and it was nice to have the pool/spas available after coming back to the resort after a long day's adventure. Having a restaurant/bar onsite that was beachfrong was a great feature. The location of the resort worked at well, as we spent equal amounts of time to the south (Poipu) and north (Princeville/Hanalei) and therefore never had too long a drive. My critique is that the hideaway bed used by my kids was very uncomfortable and two springs were missing causing a corner of the bed to collapse. Also, the lanai is fairly cramped and when sitting in the chairs the railing is at eye level, obstructing the view a bit.

This unit is on the top floor of the G building. The G building does not have any view obstructions, which is very nice. There is a natural preserve which gives the view a more Kauai waterfront feel to it. The grounds are well kept the landscapers were around making sure everything looks perfect. The pool, hot tubs, workout facility, BBQs were all in very great condition. The location is central for Kappa and Foodland/Safeway is right across the street. If you needed activity information Expedia Local Expert was down in the main lobby to guide you. The unit itself was amazing, it was fully stocked with all the cooking needs, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were large and very well designed. The TV’s in unit were all hooked up with DVD players. I really can’t say enough good things about this unit. The only issue I had was with the AC thermostat that when I left I would try to turn it off and would get stuck in Fan mode and was not turning off. To conserve energy I would suggest a new smart thermostat like nest or Honeywell. Loved our week there wish I could have stayed longer. The ReMax team is great and accommodated our late checkout. Absolutely loved our vacation experience at the Waipouli Beach Resort! It was first-class, luxury all the way! The property was everything you said it would be and the condo had everything we needed. Both were well maintained and had all the amenities advertised. The pool and beach areas were beautiful and even though it's not a swimming beach it was calm enough to actually get in one of the days but it is very rocky. The property is centrally located on the island about an hour to Princeville and 45 min to Poipu--great for making day trips anywhere on the island. We toured the Waimea Canyon, did the Koloa Zipline, took the zodiac ride with Kauai Sea Tours of the Napali Coast, deep sea fishing with Happy Hunters, paddle boarding on the Wailua River, and the Kalamaku Luau. Next trip we will do more on the North Shore. Safeway is right across the street making cooking in your condo a breeze. If you'd rather eat out there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. You can also find shopping close by at Coconut Grove or Kapaa. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a first-class family property on the beach. We will definitely be back again. Here are some of our favorite restaurants: Bobby V's Pizza (next door), Sushi Bushido and Olympic Grill in Kapaa, Hukilau lani (Coconut Grove), The Dolphin and Keoki's Paradise (Poipu), Kalapaki Joe's Waimea

This is a great place to stay. Condo is in great shape. You have the pool, bar/restaurant and spa right there. You are in the middle between North and south shore and you will probably visit both. We are coming back to Hawaii in Sept and will probably stay here again.

We received excellent check-in entry information by email and were able to arrive and go right into the apartment. A concern due to an unfinished bed, lack of bath towels and wash clothes, and a stack of linens by the washer dryer was immediately remedied. A message was left by phone to the customer service number. After calling we left the apartment several hours and returned to find all concerns addressed and a sincere apology. The managers caring for the apt were called away due to a death in the family. The next day we found a dessert and wine left for us. The remainder of the stay was excellent. Parking was easy, location great, view from balconies fantastic. The room was clean, beautifully appointed and furniture was attractive and comfortable. We were sorry we had such a short time to spend here. I would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Our family of four loved this rental! The ocean view is perfect and unobstructed. We enjoyed mornings watching the sun rise from the lanai. It is a quiet location in the resort but a quick walk over to the pool and restaurant.

Condo had everything we needed, including beach chairs.
Microwave/stove light needs to be replaced and there were a few other lightbulbs out in the unit, but nothing that hindered our vacation.

Island location was great, centrally located for the drive to north or south shore.

My husband and I just returned from a week long vacation at Waipouli Beach Resort. We had a fabulous stay there. The condo was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a better location. All of the amenities were first class. Wonderful kitchen (slab granite and stainless steel appliances including a very large Sub Zero refrigerator) luxurious bathrooms (soaking tub, tiled shower and spacious vanities) and lovely ocean views from all of the main rooms. The furnishings were pretty and of very good quality. The king bed was very comfortable but I would recommend the option of down pillows being available for guests as we find foam pillows to be too stiff. The linens and towels were also very nice and there were plenty available. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was very handy and we used them quite a bit. In general, the condo was the nicest I've ever stayed when on vacation. The resort is beautiful and was uncrowded this time of year. We enjoyed a couple's massage in the spa, rented bikes for the wonderful path that runs oceanside for miles, and ate out at the Oasis restaurant on site. Terrific price for happy hour cocktails at half price .One of the best deals at a very nice restaurant. The pool was clean and enjoyable too. Again, there were always plenty of chairs when we were needing them. We just really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again and maybe even retire at our own condo there.

The rental at Waipouli was perfect. Our family of 5 was very comfortable. The unit was beautiful and located in one of the best spots on the property. The pool and some spas were lovely as well.
The location of the property was easy access to the grocery and main roads for sightseeing.
Only one complaint , the unit was missing trash bags and we could have used foil or plastic wrap.

We really liked just about everything about this condo, great location, great pool area, great view, nicely furnished and equipped. The only thing that is lacking is a good swimming beach, we knew that going in, but that would be the one thing that would put this place over the top. It was a great location for our first visit, right in the middle of everything made it easy for exploring both ends of the island. The access to the miles of ocean front walking/biking path was an added bonus. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends.

We had the most amazing vacation in Kauai and it was largely due to this stunning condo! We are a family of four and had so much room. The kids had their own room and bathroom. The living room was spacious and had comfortable furniture. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the sub zero fridge was impressive. The view was incredible to wake up to each day and enjoy. The condo is located close to grocery stores and is in a nice central location on the island. The wave pool was a little underwhelming, that would be our only complaint. The pool was nice and the kids loved the water slides.

Our location was perfect and, as always, the Remax staff was available, helpful and supportive. It would be so much nicer if regular maintenance checks were conducted and if furniture was replaced or repaired and cleaned more frequently. The Master BR mattress is a sagging bunch of lumps, very unpleasant. Hoping things will improve prior to our next stay.

My family of four stayed in this location for Spring Break. The view from every room was beautiful. Every morning we watched the sunrise from the beach which as mere steps away. The condo was clean and the beds were comfortable. Although it would have been nice to be at a beach that was better for swimming, this was central to everything which made day trips easier. I wish the Oasis Restaurant was open for more than just dinner. We waited until the last night to have dinner there and it was the best meal we had!

Loved the property, we stayed in G-404 which in our opinion was the best building for full views of ocean throughout the entire condo. Both bedrooms open up with sliding doors to hear & see the ocean as well as one in the living area you can see the ocean while cooking in the kitchen! Nice layout large furniture seems a bit much for the space but comfy.
Negative Notes:
There were only a couple of things no trash bags at all.
The Concierge Service was not helpful at all! We were there celebrating our 43rd anniversary & our daughter tried calling to arrange for a delivery of Champagne as a surprise & no one would help nor even answer the phone when she finally reached someone they never returned her call! We also requested a later check out for this special occasion since their check out time is 10:am at the time of booking & we’re told they couldn’t offer that either! Kauai is our favorite island but they need to step up their customer service.

The property is still very nice, but there are a few things that need to be taken care of. We have commented over the years that the A/C doesn't circulate well when the bedroom doors are closed. The rooms get very warm when the doors are closed and this is still an issue. The property also experiences power surges which are common in this area so some appliances needed repair. The property management was good at addressing the TV going out, but the oven and stove are in need of repair.

Even with these minor issues this is a great place to stay and one of our favorites! We will definitely be back.

My family and I stayed at this beautiful condo June 2017. The location was wonderful, the condo could use a little updating: Dusty plastic flowers, outdated worn bedspreads, uncomfortable sleeper sofa, could use an updated Smart Television (would of been nice after a long day of playing to login to our Netflix account and watch a movie) The location and view was the huge selling point of this condo, the resort was maintained and had a nice pool. The view from the condo was wonderful & that is one of the reasons we chose that unit. The pillows were TERRIBLE, the sheets could have been better quality. My neck hurt the whole time there, you shouldn't have to bring your own pillows when you pay that much money for a condo. There was only one tiny blanket that would barely fit the bed. I have arthritis in my arms & could not open the sub-zero refrigerator or freezer, my husband had to do it. The pool was wonderful.

overall it was nice. It was the attention to detail on some items that to others are not a big deal.
1. yes people do not come to Hawaii to watch tv however if they do, it would be helpful to have a tv listing in the book. Yes the tv had a guide that rotated on channel 56 however to wait and watch was very time consuming. Our sporting event was not even televised when it was to be on national tv channel Fox sports 1
2. the freezer door would not open unless the refrigerator door was opened and fingers were placed into the gasket to separate.
3. basic necessities were there however not in abundance. Toilet paper, paper towels

We have stayed at this property several times, but we were a little disappointed this time. Generally I'd say that some things have not been attended to. Missing simple things like a can opener and a cookie sheet. TV was not working, but they did take care of that. Overall I'd say the place could use a little TLC. The lighting in the master is one lamp. They were very inflexible on check in and check out times. Overall for the price we are paying to stay here I was not completely satisfied. I'll certainly look at other options next time. With that said, the view is great and the grounds are well maintained.

Our overall stay was good. Unit was clean, kitchen fairly well equipped, bedding great, and bathrooms nice. We did call for Maintenance and did not get a really fast resolution. Found the traffic at the light really bad if you were on foot. You waited forever to cross, not great for cars either.

We acknowledge receipt of your call for the washer handle, unfortunately the part needed to be ordered and with most items in Hawaii, the turn around time is rarely convenient. As for the traffic lights, it is/has been a source of frustration for residents since it's installation. G-404 is a great location on a very nice property. Having stayed here several times we have noticed the property needs a little TLC. The appliances needed some maintenance, lamps didn't work, there was no light in the bedroom and some of the utensils were broken. All considered it is still a very nice place.
