G306 is perfectly located to enjoy a quiet ocean view, away from any potential noise from the pool area. Yet only a short walk to the pool. The unit and the grounds were well maintained. Kitchen appliances are updated. Bathrooms are very nice. Large living area to enjoy with family. Overall the location of this resort is perfect here on the east side of Kauai, making trips to either North or South shores a short drive. HIGHLY recommend G306!

Beautiful condo with great views! Condo felt very spacious, loved having a washer/dryer and large bathrooms. Appreciated having a couple beach chairs we could take with us if needed as well as a boogie board. Beach area was beautiful and loved having chairs or loungers available. Only negative would be all the furniture was pretty uncomfortable. Not horrible but would have loved to have some chairs outside that were more comfortable to relax. The sofa, chair and even the beds were not comfortable. Again, not horrible and it would not keep me from renting again but I would say renters would appreciate it if there were some more comfortable places to sit and sleep.
Overall, it is a beautiful condo at a great location with beautiful views and amenities!

This is an unbelievably great condo and property. The condo was roomy and the furnishings were up to date and comfortable. The condo was amply supplied and had everything a guest would need. We absolutely loved our stay at the G-306 condo. Having 2 separate bedrooms (with large bathrooms) was so nice for our family to have extra space. The kitchen was incredible and we often made meals here and sat on the lanai for our meals.
The view at this condo was worth every penny! Being able to see the ocean and hear the waves was what Hawaii is all about. The property grounds were excellent as well, our teenage daughter loved the pool and hot tubs, as we did too! I would 100% recommend this condo and would stay here again!

This was our second time returning to this resort, as it is a magical place, pure paradise where you can walk out of your room onto a sandy beach and hear the waves crashing at night. G-306 was the best, fully equipped with anything we needed, great patio seating, beach equipment avail for use, very clean and in the best location. The host/host company was very responsive and helpful. Things we enjoyed nearby: Kayak Kauai trip to Secret Falls, dinner at Lava Lava (great atmosphere) Coconut Marketplace (including Thursday Farmers Market there), a Luau, and Z-Tours Snorkeling, to name a few. Will surely request this condo for a return trip!!

This rental was exactly as described. We had plenty of space for our family to relax. The condo was well-appointed with nice linens, toiletries, and a well stocked kitchen. This was a great unit to be in- perfect location and view. Everything was clean, very well equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. The location was great for us, situated between Hanalei and Popiu, and just 20 minutes from the Airport. Used the pool, hottubs and gym- also in great condition. You can't miss with this choice. Location is perfect with sweeping, stunning views of the sea from both bedrooms and kitchen/dining/ living room. Often a master bedroom is much nicer than the second bedroom, but here both were great.

Condo is in excellent condition, very clean and kitchen well equipped.

Property management is very helpful, answering any requests promptly and to our satisfaction. Resort staff was also super and welcoming.

We plan to return for a much longer stay!

Thw Waipouli Beach Resort has a magnificent beach front location in Kapaa, Kauai. The Apartment G-306 looks straight out on the shore line over manicured lawns. The photos of the complex and the pool sold us on this location and it was very much as imaged. The pool is just like the photo! The apartment was spacious and well provisioned. It was clear to us the owners wanted guests to enjoy their stay. The Re/Max management team were very responsive and their pre-arrival service is excellent. Everything as expected. We found a few very minor maintenence issues which we brought up after our stay and I have every confidence they will attend to these. Friendly and engaging.
Kapaa itself is well placed on the island and within striking distance of both the northern beaches and the southern activity centres. We did the Smith's Family luau (very close), ATV adventure and Pali Coast boat tour, all South of Kapaa.We also found an online narrated driving tour of the northern beaches which was fun.
We would recommend and will also come back.

We had wonderful care from our ReMax hosts for our stay in Kauai. When we were unhappy with our reserved space, they found another for us. It was so perfect for us and our granddaughter loved everything about it. We had a great time. This is our second visit to this resort. The grounds are a wonderful garden in and of itself, beautifully maintained, in particular around the lagoon area. We would definitely go back. There was a lot of maintenance going on, it seemed like maybe still catching up from COVID.

We had a great experience last year and returned this year to enjoy the beautiful location and ocean breezes and sounds. I went to book for 2024 when I was making arrangements and almost fell out of my chair. There was a 40% increase in rent for 2024 which to me is absolutely appalling. I know rent will probably increase however 4x the rate of inflation is absurd and I felt really like I was getting raked over the coals. The property manager apologized and said it was the new system they installed and that's what the system called for. I wished her luck in getting new renters that weren't aware of previous rental history but this guy wasn't going to pay that coming off of last year's rates. Perhaps the rental rates will be more in line so I just found another property manger that had more reasonable rates and booked with them. You will enjoy this unit for sure but it's not for me right now.

Our family of 4 had a great vacation to Kauai in this condo. The Waipouli resort is very well maintained, the pool is amazing. Location is perfect for families that need convenient grocery shopping and restaurants within walking distance. We liked being on East side of the island, ~30 minute drive to either Poipu or Princeville. Also plenty of things to do close to Waipouli itself. This particular condo was nicely arranged. Plenty of space. Oceanfront view was nice to wake up to. Only criticism is the living room couch was not comfortable to sit on for very long. Property managers were great to deal with....they helped us out with a couple of requests....nice and easy.

Highly recommend this condo! The property is great and the view is amazing. Small beach, but enough to get your feet in the sand and ocean. Located close to a grocery store, shopping and restaurants and convenient to both the north and south shores. The fully stocked condo has everything you would need for your stay. The unobstructed ocean views are amazing, and the sounds of the ocean are very relaxing. We loved the pool area with both family and adult only hot tubs. There were several waterfalls and 2 slides, it was a lot of fun! Parking was very convenient to our unit. The onsite restaurant was very good with an excellent staff. We'd definitely stay here again!

It is important to pay the extra money to have the right location for the condominium. You don't want to view the parking lot or even the pool area. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from the 3rd floor. It was wonderful.

There was only one problem. When ever we left and came back we could smell a mildew smell. The air conditioner fan would never turn off even though we set it to not be on. The only way to turn it off was by opening the windows or turning off the circuit breaker. You should probably have someone one check it out.

We stayed 15 days/14 nights on Kauai. The first 7 nights were at Waipouli Beach Resort on the East side and are second 7 nights was on the south side in a smaller, but very nice complex. As much as we enjoyed our time on the South Side, if I could turn back the hands of time I would book 14 nights at Waipouli. The room was incredible. The view was GREAT. The facility was wonderful. We also found ourselves, even when staying on the South Side, driving back to the east side for beaches and activities. We are SERIOUSLY looking into buying a place at Waipouli Beach we enjoyed it so much. Eric

For Kamaaina and visitors alike looking for a place to stay on Kauai, look no further than the Waipouli Beach Resort and the fine folks at Remax Kauai. I grew up on Kauai but live in Hong Kong now. We met my wife's sister and her husband visiting from Indiana so this was the perfect place to house both couples with the 2 bedroom suite. The condo has first class amenities with a far nicer kitchen than I have at home, 3 bathrooms, laundry, and a postcard sunrise view from any of the 3 balconies which are perfect for whale watching. The pool is great and very family friendly with 2 water slides, a lazy river, and 3 hot tubs. The location is good with shops and restaurants in walking distance. You cant go wrong here...

Our stay at this resort was fantastic. G306 had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Spacious, clean, comfortable beds, many extras that made us feel right at home. The view of the ocean is spectacular throughout this unit. Resort is in a convenient location to shopping/restaurants and travel to experience all parts of Kauai. We will definitely be back. The resort amentities including the pool were equipped especially for families with children, but as grandparents my wife and I enjoyed it too.

Very good resort, well situated for exploring north and south of Kauai. Pluses: beautiful lazy river-type pool, quiet, very clean, close to all amenities, beautiful ocean-front views. Minuses: beach is not good for swimming or snorkelling (shallow, rocky)

Great place, near some good restaurants (Wahooo & Lemongrass: we had great dinners at both), and fairly convenient to everything. It was however a bit further from Poipu and all the stuff down there than I thought. Traffic gets slow through the Kapaa area. Very nice condo, and great pool too. Beach towels available near the pool. We spent 3 nights, then went to a condo in Princeville.

This suite was beautiful, clean, classy, huge, well-stocked, bright, cool, modern, and has a view of the lovely grounds and ocean from 4 sets of sliding doors (yes..four!)The rental experience with Remax was easy; lots of communication in advance. This was the best condo I have stayed in EVER, and I've been to the islands 6 times. Convenient location across from Safeway and ABC Store, but quiet and private on the grounds. Families stayed around the pool. The location is excellent.

We've been to Kauai a few times in the past and have stayed at various places around the island. We loved this property based on the location and great views of the ocean and layout and highly recommend it to others planning a trip here with their family. We particularly enjoyed the amenities including the beach chairs and boogie boards as well as the easy access to Safeway and Foodland just a short distance away (without feeling like it they're in your backyard).

The condo was very well appointed, and the kitchen well stocked with anything you would need to get through the week. With a Safeway right across the street, it was easy to cook 'at home' and still have many great dining you options readily available. The location of the resort s perfect... smack in the middle - so great whether you want to head north or south any day! The rest pool was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Chose Waipouli Beach Resort by chance and it couldn't have been a better choice. We were in Kauai visiting a relative, and whenever we came back to our unit, it was like coming home. Totally comfortable; beds were extremely comfie, and I am a bath person and the tub was heaven. Thoroughly enjoyed the slides at the pool (and we are in our late seventies!) Waipouli is a great location. Convenient to anywhere on the island.
Favorite restaurant was The Local. Don't miss the Kale Pizza (and I don't like Kale!)

The pictures do not do this condo justice. The view from all bedrooms and the living room/kitchen is breathtaking. You can leave the lanai doors open and just listen to the waves. I had to stay in and work one of the days and it was no imposition! (The wireless strength is great)

The apartment is excellently appointed and it was spotless. Loved the kitchen appliances. Made cooking a pleasure. From one of the bathrooms (there are 3!!), you can open this window and watch the ocean from the tub. Nice touch!!
The Waipouli resort is really nice too. The pool is pretty splendid. Has waterfalls, slides and numerous sandy bottom hot tubs. We loved it. Though you are right in the middle of busy Kapaa, from this apartment, you can't hear a thing except the ocean. And having the supermarket right there was actually handy :) We loved staying there and will definitely try to stay there again on our next visit!

It was a great location close by downtown Kapaa. We rented bikes that we used on the paved pathway right along the ocean. (Which leads to downtown) The place was clean with several balconies with ocean view. The keypad was nice to not have to keep track of the keys. Oasis restaurant is right on the beach and delicious. I would highly recommend this place.

We were very happy with our accommodations/condo G306 at the Waipouli Beach Resort. The condo has a great unobstructed view of the beach and we loved being able to hear the ocean. The condo was well stocked. The only suggestion I have is that the dining room chairs seats are either cleaned or re-upholstered. We loved the Oasis Restaurant and their Spa services are superb.

My first time on Kauai and first time renting a condo versus staying at a hotel and I was very happy with both! The condo is in a great location on the property. Beautiful ocean view from both bedrooms and the living room, close to the pool area, close to the elevator (but not so close you ever hear any noise), and close to the parking lot (without any noise). Furniture is in great shape, the kitchen is well appointed and the bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious. Shopping area right across the street has a grocery store and Starbucks, and there are good eating options nearby. Would definitely recommend this property to a friend!

This unit is exceptional, with beautiful ocean views from every area of the home. Condo comes with ice chests, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. Amenities at the resort are very nice. I would highly recommend this unit for families up to 6, or two couples. Convenient location for both Poipu and Princeville. If you are an avid snorkeler, the beach is not great for snorkeling, but only the North Shore has good snorkeling.

G106 has great sun rise with beach and ocean views. The rental was easy and we did not need any extra help. We found that you were not really far from anything. Plan a little more time driving south. Safeway and Starbucks just across the street. Oasis restaurant on site was very good and not really more expensive than anywhere else we went. Had a great time and I would rent this place again. We had three places rented at this location and found that you need to prop your doors open because door codes would change earlier than check out time.

I highly recommend staying at this location if you love listening to the sound of the ocean when you go to sleep at night and wake up in the morning. The condo was a perfect size for our family of 4. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has beautiful appliances and is fully stocked for cooking, and there are plenty of clean towels supplied in the bathrooms. The pool and grounds are nicely maintained and the outdoor grills worked very well. I especially enjoyed being able to go for some early morning sunrise beach strolls just steps from the unit. We had a wonderful experience here and will definitely be back the next time we visit Kauai.

We loved staying here. The condo was clean and nice, with a great view. We also loved that it wasn't too close to the pool & restaurant so it was quiet and relaxing. The resort is great, restaurant was a perfect place to hang out and relax and we all loved the pool. The beach is pretty, although you need some water shoes to go in as there are rocks, but other than that it was pretty perfect for us. We would recommend this spot for sure.

This is a wonderful unit and was perfect for 3 generations. It rained a lot during our stay so we did not get to sit on the decks as much as we wanted to, but no worries, the view from inside the condo was just as gorgeous. The condo was clean and stocked with what we needed for our stay. Our grandkids (8 & 17 mo) enjoyed the pool and water slide; the little one loved the slides so much he signed “more, more” as soon as he hit the bottom. We can’t wait to some back.

This condo was nice & relatively affordable (for Kauai). There were some basic kitchen staples, which was unusual & welcome. Since this resort is all individually-owned units, there were no resort activities. The pool is good & was never crowded, but the water could be a little warmer. I really wish they allowed floaties & pool toys to make it more fun, but it seems like all of these POA properties create a bunch of rules like this. We probably won’t stay at POA-managed resorts anymore because of the rules that detract from the fun and the lack of activities and on-site food options (the only restaurant just serves dinner).

The unit was very nice. However, it was disapointing that the bar and spa were closed and we were not notified. Otherwise, a great vacation and a perfect unit for families. Pool was great. Beach is nice but not for swimming as its a coral reef.

Our family have stayed in the same property twice . We loved it both times and highly recommend it . However the sofa / lounge needs replacing as its not very comfortable & the air conditioning is noisy and inconsistent it doesn't maintain repay it'd control .

A vacation where family gets together is always nice. The weather didn't cooperate for outdoor activities so we spent a lot of time inside. A couple of comments. Because six people could sleep there - the seating didn't accommodate that number of guests. There is one sofa (2/3 people) and one chair - not including dining room chairs which are uncomfortable after a while. The table on the lanai off one bedroom was falling apart and when we arrived there were pieces from the table all over the lanai. The window covers kept coming off the track and one of the small side covers wouldn't close. The bedroom with the larger lanai had electrical outlets that need repair and of the 3 lamps in the room - only one could be plugged in and it was a very dim lamp. The bathroom lights had all different types of bulbs in them - aesthetically it looked odd and inconsistent. The grounds were very nice - the pool was lovely and the children's pool area was good. There are slides at the pool which were fun but would have been nice to be able to put a little one in your lap and slide down. Lots of slide rules.... Grocery stores and restaurants were nearby and easy to access. The room did have quite a few pool toys which was also very nice. The kitchen was quite nice and I liked the smaller sized dishwasher so we always had clean dishes.

Our vacation was wonderful, the condo was great except it could use a little updating! The views were amazing! The grounds were spectacular. We did have an issue by the pool where as we woke up early to get "our spot" only to find out that it was moved and our towels were relocated by the towel staff. There were loads of open chairs and spaces for other guests who could of easily claimed their spot for the day. Didn't appreciate them changing our location. Did notice other people put down their towels and they weren't moved.

PROS: We love staying at Waipouli Beach Resort and the location of G306 is amazing! The layout of this room fit out family well and Remax was responsive to my emails.
CONS: Dishwasher was broken and looked to be broken from before we arrived. This should've been fixed prior to our arrival or we should've been given some sort of compensation. Microwave was also broken and looked to be so before our arrival. They brought in a big microwave which they placed on the counter, did not fix existing microwave. We were given very little toilet paper whcih did not last us the week. The air conditioner was unusually loud and kept waking me up every time it would come on. Although Remax was responsive to my emails I feel like they could have done a better job resolving our issues rather than just saying "Sorry for the inconvenience".

The place appeared nice upon check in. Great view and nice looking place. A few things that we wish could have been better. The air conditioner is super loud and turns on and off every 4-5 minutes. Makes it difficult to sleep. If the bedrooms had ceiling fans, we could have turned the AC off. Lanai chairs are old and actually falling apart and give you splinters. Also the travertine on the Lanai is disintegrating and is sharp and super hard on your feet. TV's in the unit were old, no smart TV's. When traveling with kids it would have been nice to login to netflix in the evenings. We also arrived to some dirty dishes in the dishwasher. All in all it was still a nice stay, it just could have been better.

Torn, missing screen doors in the master bedroom and living room drastically impaired our experience in this unit. We paid a premium price for an ocean front room to enjoy the breeze coming in from the ocean and the sound of waves at night and the screen door condition ruined that for us.
The coffee maker had mold/mildew growing in it and we had to go to Starbucks for our morning coffee.

After receiving your call advising us of the screens, we attempted to get a technician to complete the repair; but we could not get on anyone's schedule right away. The screens were torn in the corners but they were still functional and we had hoped it wouldn't affect you that greatly. We did look into getting entirely new screen doors but the turn around time would have been after your stay as well. Sadly, this was a situation we could not satisfactorily remediate for you. Our management team will be addressing your report about the coffee maker directly with the contract cleaners. Please know that we would have immediately brought a new coffee maker to you for your stay had we known of the issue. With exception to these two issues, we hope you were able to enjoy the direct ocean views, unit amenities, and property during your stay. - Management
