Unbeatable views! 2026-07-07

The condo is situated on the bluff with an amazing panoramic view! The place was very clean and we appreciated the beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, and boogie boards. So nice to have them to take to the beach every day. We never tried the path to the beach below the unit, although it is right next to the building. I went halfway down and it was very steep. We had other family staying near by and they had a toddler, so the path just wasn't appropriate for us, but so many beaches with easy access are close by!
Great unit, and I'd highly recommend. The drive to Hanalei is easy and lots of dining and shopping choices there. The Farmers Market on Tuesday's is fun. Hanalei Bay is great for a beach day too! Anini Beach is right down the road and just so lovely with lots of shade, warm water, and easy water entrance...not too rocky and can be done without water shoes.
The Cafe at 1 Hotel is a beautiful option for morning coffee and the view is stunning from the cafe patio.
One thing to note is the air conditioning unit in the bedroom is very loud when it is running. We used the ceiling fan and window vents for air circulation at night because the air conditioner was just too loud to sleep at night. There is a unit in the living room/kitchen area that was much quieter and very efficient. The parking for building 1 is very close to the unit. There is a very short little section of the walkway to the unit that is pretty steep. Just good to be aware if there are any accessibility issues in your party. There are handrails.
Overall we were so pleased with this lovely condo and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Best condo project for a couple to stay in Princeville. Kitchen is fully equipped with just about everything you would possibly need . Hideaways Beach is just steps below. Hotel 1 a short walk away. The pool and hot tub are very well kept. Check in and check out a breeze. We would definitely consider staying here again!

The appartment is very pleasant with a very good equiped kitchen. A/C is nice but we used it seldom. Everything was perfect. only the outside sitting space could have been cleener. Great is the sunset viwe and the direct path down to the beach. The way is steep, but the beach is good for swimming and snorkling and almost empty.

We loved this area and the view was great. The condo was clean and comfortable. The one concern we had is that the furnishings, mainly the couch and chair in the main room were not comfortable and in our view, need to be updated. The view of the ocean right off Condo was wonderful! We saw rainbows and whales. Grounds were quiet. Walking paths were awsum. Our condo was very clean and well stocked. Loved the pool and hot tub. Only negative thing was finding our place. All 9 buildings have same address. Signs are not visible or covered by plants as to your unit number. Would have been nice to know that if you are in building 1, your unit is in that building. Not clearly stated in any directions or maps.

My husband and I stayed in this 1 bdrm/1 bath unit while attending the wedding of dear friends at a nearby resort. We found this place to be cozy, clean and well-stocked, with beautiful ocean views. The king bed was very comfortable; the furnishings comfy. The unit is within short walking distance to two beaches, one private for this condo complex. The rental company was responsive to questions we had. Parking was included and a few steps from the unit. The AC units were add-ons, and pretty loud, but they were not an issue for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Very clean unit. Very well appointed and maintained.
Magnificent sunsets at summer solstice. The only downside of this is strong sun on the outdoor spaces (this would be less of a problem outside of June-July if that is a worry). Fantastic access to Hideaways Beach with awesome snorkeling in the summer season (less safe in winter months). Overall a great experience and would both recommend the unit and look forward to returning.

My husband and I stayed here and loved the view. Spectacular sunset views - so many great pictures. The bed was very comforable. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. The only thing we would change is the side chair in the livingroom was very uncomfortable for relaxing while watching TV. I would rent this place again.

We had a great stay at the Pali Ke Kua 103. The view is fantastic and just as good, if not better, than shown in the photos. The kitchen is well stocked and the bed is comfortable. The unit has a variety of beach chairs, bags, snorkels which are handy for going to the beach. The unit has two portable A/C units that can keep the unit cool when needed, but are noisy. Overall, the unit quality is good, but the views make it a fantastic unit.

These are the only types of AC units that are allowed and it has to be inside the condo. We also may well be the only condo with two units to cool the entire condo. Ours was a brief stay - 3 nights in #103 rental. Wish we had more time as it was a comfortable and wonderful rental. The view was spectacular and we appreciated the easy access to the beach below. We sincerely appreciated all the cooking supplies and spices as well as all the gear for the beach and hiking. It's a bit pricey, but a rental you won't soon forget. We would certainly rent it again if the budget allows.

The view was amazing. The concierge service was very helpful. The condo had all of the basics covered -- towels, linens, paper products, trash bags, beach gear (chairs, towels, snorkeling masks, boogie boards, umbrellas, sunscreen, bug spray), cooking oils and basic spices, cooking gear (pots, pans, utensils), great ice maker in the fridge -- pretty much anything we needed. Our only minor complaint is that the blinds for the bedroom window are somewhat see through, but there was rarely anyone outside that window given how the property is situated. Also, the condo is about 45-60 minutes from the airport and many of the places you might want to see on Kauai. It is only 10-15 minutes from most of the Hanalei sites and shopping and 15-20 minutes from the Kilauea lighthouse or Anini Beach.

Enjoyed our short 3-night stay here. Painless rental process. Unit was very nice and well stocked. Beach chairs and umbrella were nice to have. Mattress on sofa bed could maybe use some attention, but probably pretty typical. Path down to ocean was nice, but unfortunately we couldn't snorkel or even get in the water because of the huge waves.

The property has a great view of the Napali cliffs and sunsets over the ocean. It’s very clean, nice, and had all the amenities we needed during our stay: snorkeling kits, boogie boards, beach towels and chairs, olive oil, spices, etc. The washer and dryer in the bathroom were very nice and came with laundry detergent to use. We used the grill on the porch every night as we watched the sunset, and enjoyed the porch every morning for sunrise. This was the perfect place in Princeville and I highly recommend it to anyone!

From the moment we arrived we were delighted. Delighted with the location, accommodations, view, and the weather (lucky us!). The condo was beautifully appointed and had everything we could have needed or wanted. We like to cook our own meals and take advantage of the local fish and fresh fruit and vegetables that we buy at the Farmers' Markets along the North Shore. Although the kitchen is small (as in most condos) it is outfitted with every kitchen tool, pot or pan, and blender (of course) we needed. We would return to this unit in a heartbeat.

The condo is all as described. The sunset just out the doors every night. We usually go to the St Regis at least one night for the sunset but it was better from "home". A note to the owner: I am concerned that there is some dampness getting under your new floor behind the dishwasher. Needs to be checked out before there is real damage to the beautiful new floor. We had a great stay.

Beautiful condo/community near Princeville in Kauai. Beautiful ocean and sunset views. The only problem was that the living room tended to be much warmer because of the direct sunlight in the afternoons (there was no A/C in the unit). Otherwise everything else was great.

Look no further than Pali Ke Kua #103 for heaven on earth. This was our ninth vacation on the north shore of Kauai and our second consecutive rental of this beautiful condo. First of all, it was spotlessly clean. Secondly, it was equipped with everything my husband and I needed for the kitchen and the beach - two places we enjoy spending time. The accommodations were lovely and comfortable. Plus, the view of Bali Hi and the Pacific ocean from our lanai was breathtaking. We enjoyed many sunsets and rainbows just right outside our door. Thank you to the kind and attentive owners for making our stay so memorable. When we return to Kauai we will want to stay here again.

The property was clean and updated apart from the ceiling fans which were very dirty. More lighting especially in the bathroom would have been beneficial. However many special touches ..beach chairs, beach towels and walking sticks were much appreciated. The condo had a perfect viewing location for nightly sunsets.

You cannot beat the location and view of this unit. The communication about check in before arriving was perfect and we felt like we were arriving at our own Kauai condo. Everything was clean and well-stocked with initial usage items (paper towels, dish soap, etc.). The view? It's stunning from all angles.

We went in May and had no issues with no A/C - well-equipped with fans and beach accessories. Loved every minute and cannot wait to go back. Only recommendation, which certainly didn't take away from our visit, would be to provide snorkel gear. The beach right below the unit is perfect and it would be inexpensive to provide. Stay it!!

The condo met or exceeded our expectations based on the Remax Kauai website description and previous travel reviews from other visitors. It was exactly as described. The unit is cozy, clean and comfortable. With nice tropical accents. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with anything you would need to cook and entertain. We especially enjoyed the sushi dishes! The views of Bali Hai are amazing and access to Hideway Beach is super convenient. With a private walking path down to the shoreline (a bit steep). We enjoyed our stay in #103 very much. And we will return to this unit.

We were very happy with our stay at Pali Ke Kua #103! We are very particular about cleanliness and this unit was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen was the most stocked kitchen of any rental we've ever stayed in. The King bed is comfortable, and even the pull-out sofa bed had a special foam mattress topper which made it feel like a regular bed! It is in a very convenient location with private access to Hideaways beach, and within walking distance to the the hotel beach and Queen's bath. The complex is quiet, peaceful and has amazing sunset views. Also, the Italian restaurant on the property is very good and so close! When we come back to the north shore of Kauai, PKK #103 will be the first place we check for availability, and we can't wait!

This was one of the nicest vacation rentals that I stayed in while traveling through the Hawaiian Islands. This unit was well-stocked with all of the necessities--and then some! Quiet location (when the noisy group on the 2nd floor checked out). The lack of air conditioning was more than compensated for by the well-designed levers on lower windows and the numerous fans supplied by the owners. I look forward to returning to this wonderful getaway next time I'm in Kauai.

What a fabulous condo. The location is ideal. What a great place to sit outside and look at Bali Hai, watch the sunsets, interact with the daily visits from the nene, walk down to Hideaways beach, etc. We had dinner each night at the condo while we watched the sunset and the whales in the distance. The condo has everything you need for a great stay (well-stocked basic items in the kitchen, beach chairs, cooler, washer/dryer with detergent). It's in a great location; we enjoyed visiting the Kilauea Lighthouse and Refuge, snorkeling at Anini Beach where we got to swim with turtles, visiting Hanalei, walking to the St. Regis, and enjoying tidepooling at Hideaways Beach just down the path. We hope to stay here again if we get back to Kauai. This was truly an excellent stay! Thanks to all involved.

My Husband and I had an amazing stay at the Pali Ke Kua 103. It was exactly as described. The condo was very well maintained and had everything we needed. They provided beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler and hiking stick which we used for our adventures. We visited Hideaways beach almost everyday, just a short walk down the hill and it was practically a beach to ourselves with great snorkeling. They provided plenty of fans to keep the condo at a pleasant temperature. They also had 2 window AC units which we only used at night in the bedroom. The kitchen is very well stocked. The views & sunsets were absolutely amazing from the lanai. We really enjoyed the town of Hanalei and the many adventures that the North Shore has to offer. Would definitely stay here again! This was our second time staying in PKK #103, and we were not disappointed! There have been several amenities added since 2016, including two A/C units, an electric BBQ and two boogie boards and towels for taking to the beach. The kitchen is THE MOST outfitted vacation rental kitchen we have ever stayed in. Everything was very organized and clean.

The location is very picturesque. It is especially convenient having a private trail (though steep) to a small, quiet beach that is good for snorkeling.

Our only recommendation would be to replace the bath towels with new white ones that can take some bleach so they feel certifiably sanitized!

It is clear that the owner of this unit has pride in what they offer their guests and great attention to details that will make anyone's home away from home more comfortable.

The A/C was great since the island was experiencing a heat wave an we would not have survived without it. The unit met our expectations and was well maintained. This is our go to condo when we visit Princeville. It is always immaculate and well-stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies as well as outdoor equipment (cooler, beach chairs, snorkel gear, noodles, umbrellas, etc.). The air conditioning works well; we really needed it with the most recent bout of hot, humid weather. The booking process is simple and very professional. I always recommend this particular condo to friends who plan to visit Princeville. Such a beautiful property, too, with a fabulous private beach. Bar Acuda in Hanalei was our best meal but we also enjoyed Kalypso. Anini Beach is our favorite beach for snorkeling and enjoying the calm waters.

We stayed for three nights in January 2020. The condo is easy to get to. It was well stocked with everything you could need. The views were amazing. Walk to the beach below is not for anyone with mobility or health issues... it is a very steep walk down. The beach was very nice. Not too sure I would swim there as the surf was fairly high and rough. The condo was clean (only complaint is the dryer lint filter was completely clogged- doesn't take away from the condo experience, but should be brought to the attention of the cleaning staff). The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the A/C is a wonderful thing to have. Would definitely stay here again.

Home was wonderful. Clean and well kept. Spent most of my time on patio or on grass lawn. View was so fabulous, why would I be inside. I don't think I could have found a better value. I would definitely book here again if the following could be resolved.

Now for the except. This property is not ADA compliant (in my opinion). My wife uses a mobility scooter to get around. The pathways are too steep and slanted for her to feel comfortable, especially after the scooter tipped over before we even got in the front door. Luckily, she was not hurt, only scared.

Our overall experience was quite positive. The property was well appointed and was accurately described. With a creative shading and ventilation throughout the day, we were able to keep the condo from becoming too warm. The breezes and cross-ventilation cooled the property fairly quickly. The property was very clean and maintained well. The only negative we experienced was the lack of Internet access that we Expected. Even after contacting the rental company, we received no service call and had service on an open network for only one evening. We were pleased to be able to hike to a couple of beaches and were able to easily access our favorite spots on the island. A new activity for us was the Mini-golf Botanical Garden in Kilauea. We found it quite enjoyable. We hope to be able to take the hike on their property during our next visit.

We noticed on arrival that the laminated floor was wet in some areas of the dining room and living room. We contacted the management to inform them of this concern. This condo is just a fairly narrow strip of lawn from the edge of the cliff with a view of the cliffs farther along the coast and the sun setting behind the cliffs. The interior is comfortably furnished with a couple of portable AC units to counter that westering sun. A rather steep path from the parking lot could be problematical for those who are unsteady on their feet.

August is not the time to go to Hawaii. Weather was high 80 and 90+ humidity. No AC except in the Grocery stores. Nights were warm and sticky. The condo was alright but had no AC. Fans did not help at all. Booked 2 weeks but left 1 week early. Would not do it again.
